You are looking at a gorgeous vintage black satin purse, which features a decorative camel color celluloid frame. The celluloid is very sturdy & not the thin type of celluloid.

Please note, the main picture, along with a couple others, show a light spot on the top area. This is not a spot and was caused by the flash against the satin fabric.

The fabric has five appliqués on the front only, done in brocade; the back is solid black.

The 1" black satin handle is attached to celluloid rings. On each side of the handle, there is antique gold metallic trim. The same metallic trim is used underneath the front & back celluloid frame & on the inside, below the frame.

The purses lining is done in black/brown satin and features one pocket; the pocket is 4" deep & 5" wide, although it has a "poof", so it extends out quite a bit.

The condition is excellent, with the following to note: some spots on the underside of the handle (as seen in one of the pictures) & a few pin prick size spots on the top (I couldn't capture them). About five pin prick size light spots on the back. The front has four pin pricks; I'm not sure what to call them, but they aren't snags. There are no odors or major stains, only the minor ones noted above.

The approximate size is: 12" from the top of the celluloid closure to the purse bottom; 11" across the widest portion. The handle has a 7" drop, to the closure portion. Since the fabric has soft pleats on the front and back, it is quite roomy.

This is really a great looking purse, that you'll enjoy wearing. No doubt you will get many compliments on it.
