PLEASE NOTE THE MAIN PHOTO HAS BEEN LIGHTENED TO SHOW DETAIL. THE TRUE COLOR IS A RICH CARMEL.
This vintage 1960's Mexican hand tooled leather briefcase is so stunning; the detail work is amazing. The original two keys are wrapped around the leather handle.
I will let the photos do the “talking”.
The condition is very good, with the following to note: there are some scuff marks, mainly at the corners & a bit on the handle, but please refer to the photos. These may have been caused during storage & having it rub against items. The inside is lined in faux suede/a type of velveteen. I had tissue paper & bubble wrap inside, so there are signs of this (see pic). There are no odors. There is a stain on the upper right corner on opposite side (see pic).
There are four metal feet at the bottom. There’s also a thin metal border surrounding the entire inner/outer portion.
This briefcase is: 16" L, 12 ¼” H & 3.75" Depth.
This gorgeous briefcase will look even more gorgeous once it’s taken to a shoe repair person who can give it a good waxing & buffing.
You certainly won’t be disappointed in this hand tooled vintage beauty.
