You are looking at a beautiful vintage 30's wax wedding tiara, which is done in antique white. As you can see, this tiara is round and done in a crown style, which you don't see very often.
The crown features eight, 3" long wax pieces/strands which are raised to form the crown; the strands all have wax buds on them.
The outer portion features a double row of wax buds, with each single piece having multiple wax buds on it (approx. 9-10 each). Some may have less, but it's very full so if there are any missing buds, you certainly don't notice it.
The entire crown is wired so it's bendable, plus the wired portion is covered in silky antique white flossy thread.
The tiara is approx. 18" in circumference & is 6" from end to end/side to side. Although it's difficult to measure, the top crown portion is raised up approx. 2-3".
The overall condition is excellent, with possibly a couple wax buds missing at the end of three crown strands (see pic). I'm saying "possibly missing" since each of the eight strands is individually attached by wire, so it may be a case of the other end not being attached as tightly as the others (see pic of one strand underneath). All in all, it's in fabulous condition.
This is a great looking wax tiara/crown which will no doubt look amazing when worn. I would just recommend adding a hair comb to keep it in place.
