This very pretty vintage compact is by Dorothy Gray. It is a shiny and matte gold tone metal that is in superb condition with virtually no wear to the finish on the metal. It measures about 3 3/4" x 3". The clasp works great and as it should and the compact lines up perfectly. It has a lovely mirror that has some light speckling when the light is just right but, it is highly reflective and there are no cracks or silver loss at all. It has the original, signed puff which has been used. The powder well is now pretty much empty with just a bit of old powder residue remaining. The clasp on the powder well works as it should and keeps the well closed. This is a lovely compact in nearly mint condition with damage. The enameling on the mask is also all intact and the rhinestones are all intact and look good. Depending on which way you move the compact, sometimes the stones look a teeny bit darker but, sometimes they look perfect.
