This incredible ring is a wonderful piece of history from the Victorian period, circa late 1800's. Crafted in 18K yellow gold (acid tested), and later having the top coated with white gold, it holds 3.45 carats of the most beautifully lively old mine cut diamonds that are crystal clear!! What an impressive ring now - can you just imagine who would have worn it over 120 years ago! These old mine cut stones were hand cut, and show great craftsmanship, with slight variation to each one. The center holds a .93 carat diamond, with another 24 perfectly graduated diamonds on the sides and down the center. It would be very hard to find one so old that could compare in quality and brilliance to this one. The diamonds are graded as H/I (look more like G/H), and average SI1 in clarity. At a size-able 5.25, there is a .25 inch rise on the finger, and measures 1 inch front to back, and .50 inches across the finger. A true investment piece!! Professional appraisal available upon request.
