This lovely vintage diamond ring is reminiscent of the Georgian period, which was known for the enameling, and flower design used. The whole outer edging of the ring is trimmed in black scalloped enamel which remains in perfect condition, as well as a wonderful enamel design on the shank of the ring. The center holds an approx. .35 carat diamond, surrounded by another 16 diamonds to fill out the top. Set in 14K yellow gold, the diamonds are a bright H/I in color and average an SI1 in clarity. I am estimating that the ring was made in the 50's since the diamonds are just past the transitional cut period. This style makes a very striking ring that would fit all occasions!!
