This beautiful piece of Haviland Limoges took some research for me to figure out what it was used for. It measures 12.5" by 5.5" and is the perfect size for serving asparagus. It is marked on the back "Theodore Haviland, Limoges, France". This mark was used from 1925 on. The other mark on the back I believe was the previous owners inventory mark. The pattern is dainty pink and lavender wild roses on vines. The base porcelain also has some patterns and scrolling in it. The end tab handles are highlighted with gold.
It is in excellent condition, NO CHIPS, CRACKS, CRAZING, STAINS OR REPAIRS.
