This is one of my favorite Meissen figurines: an aristocratic woman holding a racing card in one hand with a muff on the other. She is beautifully painted and marked with the crossed swords of Meissen, German from the 1800's. She is heavy and stands 8" tall. She has delicate little lace points and lace on her bonnet (part of the lace is missing on the top of one side of the bonnet but not noticeable). There is also a very small firing crack on a skirt ruffle but you have to search to find it. She is an outstanding piece and can be bought on layaway with just $300 down provided the remainder is paid in 5 more monthly payments or less.
