This 25" doll was made by Jumeau, circa 1885. It is a transitional model and clearly has the look of a Depose yet is marked Tete Jumeau Bte SGDG 12 on the back of its head. The bisque head is in excellent condition with no hairlines or restoration. She has creamy bisque with a closed mouth. The doll has pretty blue paperweight glass eyes and is on its French composition and wood ball jointed body. The coil spring is still intact. She is dressed in an antique pale pink silk dress with drop waist and a darling hat with pom poms. She wears an antique metal pin and newer pink earrings. She also comes with leather shoes, socks and antique undergarments. She has her original cork pate and antique light brown human hair wig with curls.
