This is one of my most prized dolls: a 17" Jumeau French fashion doll dating to 1875. Her bisque head is free from any hairlines, restoration or damage. She has beautiful blue glass enamel inset eyes with darker outer rims, delicately painted lashes and brows. She is nice and pale with pierced ears, cork pate and original brunette human hair hand-tied wig in elaborate coiffure. She is on her original Kid leather body with gussets - excellent condition with two tiny patches at lower gusset sides. The clothes are incredible: a pale lavender silk 3 piece ensemble with matching hat. The dress has amazing detail and is in fantastic condition. The triple bows and silk covered buttons along with candy striped lavender piping are just a few of the extravagant features to this rare and deluxe gown. She also comes with her earrings and lavender beaded necklace. She has antique undergarments, lavender antique socks and antique shoes that are signed "Modes de Paris" on the bottom. She is marked with the number 4 on her head and shoulders. This doll will be the centerpiece of your collection and is available on layaway with just $500 down provided the remainder is paid in 15 monthly installments or less.
