This is a magnificent doll made by Jules C. Steiner. She is 33" tall. She has wonderful pale bisque with blue enamel glass eyes that are also marked Steiner and open and close with a patented lever system unique to the Steiner firm. She also has very rare bisque hands. The back of her head is marked in red with Bte SgDg S C Bougoin Ste. Her bisque head does have a professional restoration under the chin/ear area. You cannot detect this unless you are looking at the doll from under her chin. She is on her original body with has some repaint/varnish streaking. She has her original pate and a blonde human hair wig. Her hands have incredible detail. I was told there could be some restoration but look at the enlargements and see if you can tell from either side! She has pierced ears and is wearing a fabulous antique lace dress with her original socks and lovely antique leather shoes. Her antique bonnet is made of fine lace which compliments her dress. She also comes with glass earrings, a wonderful antique brooch and a charm bracelet. She has an antique one piece undergarment that does have some tears. She was also restrung some time ago. If perfect, this doll would sell for $20K, but you can buy her at a discount due to the issues described above. She can be yours on layaway with $500 down provided the remainder is paid in 15 monthly payments or less.
Due to her size, international buyers must confirm actual shipping cost.
