This 12 3/4" charger features spectacular currant berries by the Pickard artist, Joseph Blaha. Blaha is well known for his artful work and skill depicting currants, gooseberries and violets.
This charger is decorated with currants (often called red and green grape cluster) hanging delicately from stems among the vines.
An elaborate border in noted featuring beautiful gold, artful scrollwork and an intermingling of colors featuring gold, rust, yellow, blue and white.
A painted over, possible repaired ding, can be seen in the dark green leaf upon close inspection.
