This was the era of anthropomorphic photography - kittens and puppies in particular lent themselves to this art. In the 21st century we have photographers such as William Wegman ~ but photography was not so advanced 100 years ago and so although these images are charming they are not of the greatest quality!
There are two lovely colour plates and a gorgeous front cover.
The images come with little stories and the whole is as cute as can be!
Overall in nice condition ~ changes in colour in my images are down to the light source.
In theory a children's book, in practice, what cat lov er can resist!!
