Alan Weston is best known for his spectacular trompe l'oeils - I have a trompe l'oeil of a bas relief of cupid riding a panther, a mountain lion and a leopard available in my shop - but Weston also has always had a fascination for the sea, for bodies of water, also, from time to time, paints the most extraordinary renditions of water.
Although not strictly trompe l'oeils, the amazing feeling of depth and reality he attains makes one feel one could did a hand into the water, touch the ripples as they move.
This work 'RIPPLES' measures a substantial 32 by 32 inches and is oil on canvas. It is NOT stretched which means that shipping will be greatly reduced - it being sent rolled. Any good quality framer/restorer/art supplier should be able to do this for you.
I can arrange to have it stretched if you prefer, but this will of course increase shipping massively and there will be a charge for the stretching.
Insurance as per Paypal.
Specialist insurance available at your discretion.
