Keith Proctor comes from glorious northern England and the wonderful wild countryside of Northumberland had a great influence on Keith's life.' He began painting nature as a child, his subjects, the river, the birds, dogs, and horses in and around Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Two artists that have greatly influenced him are the fascinating bird artist Raymond Harris Ching and the late Manfred Shatz.
This is one of his early and very rare original paintings of two Jack Russells, quite likely his own dogs.
Proctor is an extremely well known artist and even his limited edition prints sell for over 300GBP.
This is a rare opportunity to acquire an original Proctor of great beauty which was originally purchased from the prestigious Tryon Gallery in Cork Street, which was the heart of London's vibrant art district.
