Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age. Cleaning and/or polishing by request at no additional cost.
The Art Deco Period, which began around 1920 and ended about 1935, produced brilliant jewelry which was in contrast to the jewelry of the previous periods. The emphasis shifted from soft colors and flowing lines to bold, bright colors and straight lines. Women cut their long hair and began wearing it short and boyish. This was the era of jazz and flappers! Art Deco jewelry complimented the flamboyant and playful attitude of the day and remains a favorite of collectors today.
