COMMENTS: Art deco era, circa 1920-30's. Featured here is a lovely Art Deco engagement ring set with a main diamond measuring .91 carats and 2 accent diamonds. It has an alluring warm hue and it appears cleaner than its clarity grade would imply. The diamond has very nice light performance and any natural internal characteristics blend well with the sparkle of the diamond. Complementing the center diamond are 2 accents on the shoulders! The ring is made from solid 18 karat white gold. Set with a unique geometric height, the diamond sits 3/16" off the finger. This one of a kind design can only be found here! Pictured as received from a local estate. This vintage ring will touch your heart and soul with its timeless beauty. There's something magical about jewelry from another era, with its own story to tell. Pictured as received from a local estate. Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age. Cleaning and/or polishing by request at no additional cost.
The Art Deco Period, which began around 1920 and ended about 1935, produced brilliant jewelry which was in contrast to the jewelry of the previous periods. The emphasis shifted from soft colors and flowing lines to bold, bright colors and straight lines. Women cut their long hair and began wearing it short and boyish. This was the era of jazz and flappers! Art Deco jewelry complimented the flamboyant and playful attitude of the day and remains a favorite of collectors today.
