COMMENTS: This beautiful art deco pin is 14k yellow gold with a platinum top. The sapphire measures 3.5mm or 1/4 carat. The pin has a lever safety catch for the pin back for added security. There is great etching and milgrain details throughout the pin. Pictured as received from a local estate. Very good estate condition with minimal wear indicative of age. Cleaning and/or polishing by request at no additional cost.
The Art Deco Period, which began around 1920 and ended about 1935, produced brilliant jewelry which was in contrast to the jewelry of the previous periods.
