This is a nice silver mesh purse from the 1920's. Couldn't you just see those flappers doing the Charleston, with the purse swinging from their arm?
It is rectangular in shape and comes to a point on the bottom with chain hanging down, creating fringe. The frame has a chased design with a fleur-di-lis on top. It has a paper clip style chain handle.
The length without the handle is 7" including the fringe. The condition is fair to good, with a few pieces of fringe missing (which I don't believe to be significant) and slight separation from the frame when open. I have priced it accordingly.
