This lovely item is a three piece sterling silver tea set. It consists of a teapot, a creamer and a sugar bowl. It is hallmarked STERLING, 3073, and has a W surrounded by a wreath which is the hallmark of the Woodside Silver Company.
The tea pot, which could also be used for coffee, is 9 1/2" high. Its graceful lines are reminiscent of Art Deco design, and I believe it dates from the early 1920's. The company was in business between 1896 and 1925, so this is one of their later designs. They were located in New York City.
The matching sugar bowl has an elliptical shape and has a height of 4 1/4" to the top of the handle.
The creamer is 5 1/4" high.
The pieces have a combined weight of 17.060 troy ounces. The set is in fine vintage condition.
