This is a wonderful Edwardian English bracelet, dating from about 1900. It is made of hallmarked 9 karat/carat, yellow gold.
The bracelet, which could also be used to hold charms, is made up of open gold links. On one side the links are smooth, and on the reverse the links alternate between smooth and chased. There is a working gold heart shaped padlock, attached with a chain.
The bracelet has a length of 7 1/2", and opens up quite a bit to allow any size hand to slip through. It weighs 13.5 grams and is in fine antique condition.
