This stunning lavaliere or pendant dates from the Edwardian era, Circa 1905. It is made of tested 10 karat yellow gold, and contains an amethyst, seed pearls and a baroque pearl. It comes on a 20" hallmarked 14 karat gold chain.
The pendant is large for a lavaliere, measuring 2 1/4" in length, including the pearl at the bottom. It is 7/8" wide. The center of the pendant contains a rectangular shaped amethyst in a medium to dark purple hue. The stone measures about 1/2" long by 3/8" wide. There is a lovely open work design and it is embedded with seed pearls.
The lavaliere and pendant have a combined weight of 6.2 grams. They are in fine vintage condition.
