This charming potpourri dish or bowl comes from Bohemia and was made late 19th or very early 20th Century. I believe it was manufactured by Kralik, one of several companies working in that region at that time.
The piece is a pretty iridescent green glass with a draped or swirled design, and has a metal open work top . I believe the metal to be brass, that has dulled over time, but could likely be polished if one desired. The cover does not lift off, but you can place your favorite potpourri mixture inside if desired.
The piece has a bottom diameter of 5" and would be a great addition to your art glass collection. It is in good vintage condition, except for the dulling of the metal.
