Presenting an adorable pendant, dating from the 1960's. It is made of hallmarked 14 karat yellow gold, with a single mabe pearl and surrounded by small diamonds.
The pendant is a teardrop shape and is set in the gold border, which is studded with small diamonds around the entire piece. The pearl is very lustrous and the diamonds add a nice sparkle. The pendant, with out the bale, has a length of 1 1/4".
The bale is detachable, and I believe is known as an enhancer, as you can add it to a wide chain or string of beads. It would look fabulous dangled from your string of pearls. The enhancer has a 1/2" length, and an opening of about 1/4".
The pendant with the enhancer has a combined e a weight of 7 grams and is in fine vintage condition. What a great gift for those June birthdays.
