A wonderful example of Art Nouveau design, this perfume or cologne bottle was made at the beginning of the 20th Century. It is made of clear glass and has a pretty silver overlay.
The silver is quite heavy and is done in a swirled and leaf design and has a central cartouche, which contains a monogram that looks like ECN. It is so hard for me to decipher these fancy designs.
The bottle is 4 3/4" high, including the stopper and has a base diameter of 2". There is a starburst pattern in the glass at the base. It is in fine antique condition, with only some tarnish to the silver (this could easily be polished up, but most customers prefer the original patina) and slight cloudiness to the glass at the very bottom. It would look wonderful on your vanity.
