I am not quite sure what to call this piece. It is made from a Victorian onyx bar/watch pin and has an attached black grosgrain ribbon with a hook on the bottom to place a watch or locket.
The pin top is 2 1/4" across and done in gold fill with a central applied gold color piece containing two tiny seed pearls. There is a line down one side of the black onyx. The ribbon has two gold applied pieces with stamped designs.
The piece has a total length of 7" You can detach the pin at top and wear it alone if desired, or use it as is with a locket or pocket watch on the bottom. A mentioned previously, the pin has a line down one side, but not terribly visible when worn. The ribbon is somewhat fragile. Still a good example of late Victorian design.
