Presenting a pretty pair of shoe buckles dating from the 1920's Art Deco period. These are made of cut steel and signed FRANCE. They came out of the Estate in this box from Woodward and Lothrop, Washington, D.C. which might or might not be original to the piece but will be included with the set.
The buckles measure 2 5/8" by 1 3/4" each and have a wonderful open cut steel design. I have sold several pairs of these items to artists who make wonderful jewelry from them. It makes a spectacular centerpiece on a bracelet. Just use your imagination. You could also put these on your shoes or string fabric through them for a belt.
The buckles are in fine vintage condition. The box has some staining on he lid.
