This stunning casket or box comes from France and dates from the late 19th Century. It is made of white opaline glass and has a ribbed texture.

The box measures 5 1/8" by 4" and is 3" high. It is hinged and trimmed with and trimmed with bronze in a raised design. It has a pretty little bronze bird at the center, used as a pull to open and close the box. Just adorable and unique.

The box is in fine antique condition and would look fabulous in your home.
