With the opening of King Tut's tomb in the 1920's, came an interest in all things Egyptian. This pair of buckles attests to that.

Made of a black plastic, they are trimmed in a cut out silver metal design and have a central bust of an Egyptian, done in gold tone metal. The buckles have a diameter of 2 3/4" and I believe used to center a belt. They are extremely attractive and in wonderful condition. A great fashion piece to enliven your outfit.
