This beautiful urn dates to the Art Nouveau period , late 19th Century to about 1910. It was made in France and is hallmarked with the Sevres porcelain mark on the bottom of the urn as well as in the lid. The bronze crossbar is hallmarked FRANCE.
It is made of porcelain and has bronze mounts. The porcelain has a cream colored background and lovely florals done in shades of pink and red with green leaves. The center has a portrait of an Art Nouveau style woman scantily dressed. She is placed against a gilt circle.
The handles show fancy metalwork and the finial on top is an acorn style.
The urn measures 13" high to the top of the finial. It has a base diameter of 4". It is fine antique condition, except for an old lid repair. It could probably be redone by a skilled craftsman if desired. I have priced it accordingly.
