Dating to the 1920's Art Deco era, this ring has all the markings of this period. It is made of hallmarked sterling silver and has a very large carnelian stone at its center, surrounded by marcasites.
The ring is a small size 3, but could be re-sized by your jeweler, or worn as a small pinkey finger. The central stone measures about 1" in length, and the entire middle measures 1 1/4" north to south and 1" east to west. The carnelian is a nice deep orange to brown color.
The ring weighs 8.6 grams. It is in fine vintage condition with no missing marcasites.
