This is a stunning two handled vase, manufactured in the late 19th Century. It is Teplitz Amphora.
The vase which stands 10 1/2" high, has a cream colored porcelain background color and is decorated with hand painted flowers, both front and back. There is even a raised spider web design along the neck of the vase, and perhaps a small bug inside it. The two attached gilt handles look like branches from a tree.
The neck of the vase has a cut out design at the top, which is gilded as well. This would look beautiful in your cabinet at home, or maybe holding a bouquet of flowers. The base Teplitz hallmark is a bit faded, but can still be read. A shop viewer has suggested that the hallmark appears to be that of Alfred Stellmacher, with a suggested manufacture date of mid to late 19th century.
