Presenting a wonderful vintage Navajo necklace, dating to the 1930's or 40's. It came out of an estate in New England, from a collector of Native America objects.
The necklace is made of silver, acid tested as at least 800 silver, and consists of a chain of hand hammered beads, culminating with a large naja.
The naja is sand cast and fluted, ending in arrow points. Very interesting.
The necklace, which can be worn by a male or female is 32" long. The naja, measures 3" by 2 1/2". It weighs 103.9 grams and is in fine vintage condition.
