Presenting an early example of the beautiful tableware designed by the Mackenzie-Childs Company of Aurora NY. This firm, started in 1983 is known for their unique and whimsical designs and early pieces are highly sought after.
This cheese dish and dome consists of a wooden board with a scalloped edge, with black grosgrain ribbon woven around its edge. It measures 8 3/4" in diameter. It came with a pretty little lace doily. The underside has the early Victoria and Richard label.
The accompanying dome is done in the tulip pattern with a label on the inside. It is 5 1/2" high and fits perfectly on the board below.
Both pieces are in fine condition, and may have never been used.
