This is a rare and much sought after match safe, manufactured in 1910 by the James Blake Company of Attleboro Mass. It is hallmarked Sterline, which was used on match safes by this company, and is a form of silver plate.
The safe shows two men on the front fly fishing. The larger image shows the man having a creel on his back. You can see a small house and trees in the background. The back is plain, with fancy embossed scrolled borders.
The piece measures 2 1/4" by 1 3/4". It is in fine vintage condition with the hinge working well and closing with a snap.
