This is a lovely necklace from designer Judith Jack, who reproduces deco style jewelry in sterling silver and marcasites. It likely dates to the 1980's.
The piece is hallmarked with the JJ initials and signed STERLING. The lobster claw clasp is hallmarked 925. It also has its original JUDITH JACK paper label, so this is likely new old stock which was never worn.
The necklace is 15" in length and meant to end at the hollow of your neck, looking delicate. It has a quatrefoil shaped pendant embedded with sparkling marcasite stones. The pendant measures 3/4" by 3/4".
The piece weighs 7.1 grams and is in fine vintage condition. I note that the back clasp is very slightly off center, but the piece was obviously manufactured that way, and not noticeable when worn, so I don't consider it a defect.
