This wonderful rose bowl was made by the Consolidated Glass Company in the late 19th Century. It is molded opaline glass in the shell and seaweed pattern.
The background is done in shades of yellow going from deep yellow to a paler shade at the bottom. It is hand decorated with a seaweed design done in gold and pink. There are three fancy gold cartouches near the top ruffled edge.
The bowl measures 3 1/2" high and has a base diameter of 2". It has a ground pontil at the base. It is in very fine antique condition.
