I am adding another beautiful dresser jar or box, dating from the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th Century. As with my other listing today, it was manufactured by the C.F. Monroe Company and known as Wavecrest.
This is a super size jar, with a 7" diameter and standing 4" tall. As with most Wavecrest pieces found today, The box no longer has its original liner, but would be a great addition to your vanity.
It has a swirl top, known as the Helmschmied Swirl. It is hand painted with pretty pink flowers against an of white background. It retains its brass collars and original pull up latch.
The box is in good condition with some patina to the brass. There is a small line on the bottom that looks somewhat like paint - perhaps part of the worn off original label.
Please Note: For any desired International shipments, advance approval is required. Out of country shipments, must be by Express Mail International. Please see my shop terms of sale which can be found on the right hand side of any page.
