This is a gorgeous, large cocktail ring, dating from the first quarter of the 20th Century. It is made of hallmarked 14 karat yellow and white gold and contains a garnet and diamonds.
The center of the ring is a large navette shape with a white gold top. It is done in pretty filigree. The center contains a marquise shaped garnet, approximately one carat in weight. There are approximately 16 small diamonds embedded in the filigree, each about a 1.4mm size. The center measurement is 1 1/8" by 1/2".
The ring is an unusually large size 10 1/2, but can be easily re-sized by your jeweler. It also looks great on your forefinger.
The piece weighs 6.2 grams and is in fine vintage condition.
