This adorable little vase dates to 19th Century France. It is made of metal with poured enamel, known as champlevé or cloisonné. It also has a middle section of porcelain with a hand painted scene.
The vase is 5 1/2" high and has a base diameter of 1 3/4". The middle section has a hand painted picture of a small child walking amongst trees and grass, done in pastel tones. The base and neck have the enamel work done in green red and blue tones.
It is a delightful piece and in fine antique condition.
