This is a great cigar cutter, from the late 19th Century. It is made of hallmarked sterling silver. The silver has had a gold wash put over the top, giving it a light gold color. It may be used as a fob and placed at the end of your watch chain, or the ladies can put it on a chain and wear it as a pendant.
The piece has a pretty scrolled and floral design on both the front and the back. There is a cartouche on each side, meant for a monogram. None are present. Why not put on your own?
It measures 1 3/8" in length without the loop on top. It weighs 9.2 grams and is in fine antique condition.
