A lovely example of Art Deco design, this ring dates from the 1920's-30's. It is not hallmarked, but has been carefully acid and electronically tested at 14 karat. It is yellow gold and contains a synthetic blue sapphire stone. It was very common at this time period for lab created stones to be used in jewelry.
The central stone is a gorgeous deep blue color and has a rectangular shape. It measures 1/2" by 3/8". Surrounding the stone is a pretty design, see pictures.
The ring is currently a size 6 1/2, but can easily be re-sized by your jeweler. It weighs 3.4 grams and is in fine vintage condition.
