This vintage bracelet is from the Art Deco period, circa 1920. It is made of hallmarked sterling silver and has black enamel work, onyx stones and paste or rhinestones.
The bracelet is line style and has a central rectangular plaque, measuring 1" by 3/8". The plaque contains 7 paste stones and nice silver and black enamel work. The rest of the bracelet is made up of chain, attaching square boxes with round paste stones, and two rectangular plaques with three square onyx stones in each.
There is a ring closure clasp which is hallmarked sterling. There is also a sterling hallmark behind the central plaque.
The bracelet weighs 8.9 grams and is 6 1/2" long. I believe a jeweler could add an extra jump ring or two at the end if additional length is needed. It is in good vintage condition, with two of the small paste stones in the plaque being somewhat recessed. If you love jewelry from this period, I would say this is a fine and unusual example.
