This is a very attractive Victorian stickpin, dating to the late 19th or early 20th Century. It is made of tested 14 karat yellow gold.

The pin has a large bright purple amethyst cabochon at its top, which is oval in shape. It measures about 3/8" by 1/4".

The stem or shaft measures 2 1/2" in length.

The entire setting is 14 karat yellow gold and the stick pin has a weight of 2.2 grams. The pin came with a non gold guard which I am including as an added safety for the piece. All is in good antique condition.
