This stunning vintage bracelet is made of hallmarked 14 karat yellow gold and contains opals and diamonds. It dates to the mid 20th Century.
The bracelet is a hinged bangle style with a push in clasp and an additional side lock. The bracelet has the gold in a brushed textured design. The center of the piece displays two pretty " feathers", each with a row of diamonds down the center, set in white gold. The diamonds are each about 2mm. There are ten of them. There are nine round opals scattered across the front, ranging in size from approximately 3mm to five mm. Each one has its own unique colors ranging from white to blues to purple to pink. Quite spectacular.
The bracelet has an interior measurement of 2 1/2" and is just under 1" wide at the center, tapering down to just under 3/16" at the back. It should easily fit up to a 7 1/2" wrist, perhaps an 8".
The bracelet weighs a substantial 24 grams and is in fine vintage condition.
