Presenting today a very lovely vintage necklace, dating to the 1960's or 70's. It is made of sterling silver, lapis and what appears to be agate (although it could be mother of pearl beads).
There are no hallmarks on the piece, but the silver tests as sterling. The chain is made up of mostly sterling silver rectangular links with small silver balls in between each rectangular one. There are also eight round 5mm agate or mother of pearl beads, and five lapis bars which measure 10mm in length. There is a hook style closure.
The necklace has a Native American, Southwestern look, but I am not sure of its origins. It is very attractive and interesting.
The necklace has a length of 25" and weighs 22 grams. It is in fine vintage condition.
