This impressive knife has a sterling silver handle and is meant to be used on the Jewish Sabbath to cut the tradition bread, known as challah.
The handle has a domed rounded shape and the stainless blade is serrated and has an etched design and Hebrew words, which read in honor of the Sabbath. (Thank you to one of my customers who assisted with the translation).
The knife is 12 1/2" long and has a gross weight of 4.215 ozt. It is in fine vintage condition and would make a wonderful gift, or use it in your own home.
