This is a wonderful little pocket or fruit knife from the Victorian era. It is hallmarked with foreign hallmarks I am unable to decipher, but it has been carefully acid tested as sterling.
The piece has a very pretty raised floral and grape design on both sides, and there is an inscription on one side saying what looks like MBP to EF. I always have trouble reading those antique initials.
The knife is 3 1/4" long closed, and with the blade out it has a length of 5 1/2". It weighs 1.005 ozt. It is in good antique condition, with some minor denting in the middle of the non monogrammed side.
