This wonderful late 19th Century bracelet is made of gorgeous deep red Bohemian garnets set in hallmarked 835 silver that has a gold wash on top of the metal. The piece is also hallmarked with a number 61 and another hallmark of a cross and figures placed in a triangle. I could not find this hallmark.
This attractive piece consists of nine garnet "flowers" made from a round center stone with eight smaller stones surrounding the center. The center stones are about 6mm each, and the smaller stones 3mm each. In between the garnet flowers are garnet squares made up of four 3mm garnets each. There are nine of them.
The bracelet is 3/8" wide and seven inches in length. It closes with a push in style clasp and has an attached safety chain.
The piece weighs 16 grams and is in fine antique condition.
