This fabulous piece dates to the 1920's, and although unmarked, I believe it to be of Czech origin. It is a choker style, measuring 15" in length, but an extender or extra rings can always be added if desired.
The chain of the necklace has a dozen faceted black onyx beads and four milky white round beads connected by a silver tone chain. The central area of the necklace has four open silver tone rectangles with three roses at its center and typical deco design suspended below. These rectangles measure about 3/4" each.
There are also three large oval plaques, each with a central onyx stone, measuring about 18mm in length. These have a very pretty wreath border.
The necklace weighs 13 grams and is in good vintage condition, with some corrosion to the metal, primarily on the clasp.
